The City Council of Aljezur has just awarded the contract to restore the wall on Rua das Figueiras, in the old part of the Municipality.
After a long process, which required several studies, and more than one competition, the work will move forward.
The cost of the project was 55 thousand euros and the value of the work was awarded for 530 thousand euros, with an execution period of 240 days.
According to the Chamber, the start of the work is scheduled for September.
«However, the municipality commissioned a study from LNEC – National Laboratory of Civil Engineering, to study some more situations in the old part of the village of Aljezur, where there are some structural problems», the press release says.
