Go through tunnels, crawl like amphibians and drive an armored car, in this case in virtual reality. Albufeira hosts this Friday, July 29, from 10 am to 00 pm, a “Military Baptism” in Praça dos Pescadores.
This initiative, organized with the support of the Albufeira City Council, will give participants of all ages the opportunity to participate in a military aptitude course with activities such as pulling rope, crossing a wall, passing through a tunnel, turning a tire , amphibious crawl, precision launch, gantry crossing, cargo transport or approach net ascent.
The program also includes military virtual reality experiences, such as parachute jumps or driving a “pandur” wheeled armored vehicle. This action takes place at Praça dos Pescadores and participants will be entitled to gifts and a Diploma from their first Military Baptism.
Tomorrow will also be marked by the summer concert by the Orquestra Ligeira do Exército, which will also take place in Praça dos Pescadores at 21 pm, thus ending a day dedicated to the national security forces.
