the whale that gave this Sunday, July 3rd, at Salgados beach (Albufeira) but ended up being washed away by the sea, it was detected this Monday, the 4th, at Praia Grande Nascente, in Armação de Pêra (Silves).
The animal, measuring about 7 meters, was detected by agents of the Maritime Police picket.
"Municipal services were alerted and proceeded to remove the whale at 13:00 pm," according to the National Maritime Authority.
The heavy vehicle that transports the whale will be escorted to the landfill by the GNR.
