Initial roll-off and vertical drone landing tests were successful in Portimão

This test took place on a short track, thinking about the next generation of drones

The first roll-off and vertical landing tests of the Drone Ogassa were successfully carried out this Friday, June 24, at the pier at the Ponto de Apoio Naval de Portimão.

«The operation and control of air and maritime traffic were carried out through a Mobile Remote Control Station installed on site», explains the Portuguese Navy.

 

 

This test took place on a short track, thinking about the next generation of drones.

The tests were attended by Admiral Gouveia e Melo, Chief of Staff of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nobre de Sousa, Fernando Rocha Pacheco, Commander of the Southern Maritime Zone, and the CEO of the company Uavision Nuno Simões.
