About the group 'Teatro de Vizinhes'

This Group emerged as a result of a community theater project between the Municipal Theater of Faro and JAT – Janela Aberta Teatro, started before the pandemic and which the neighbors and the JAT Collective decided to maintain and develop. It is a space for meeting, playing through theater, sharing experiences and knowledge, and its purpose is to create original, amateur, socially critical theater plays, with themes and ideas coming from the group itself.

An inclusive and comprehensive project, which seeks a sense of belonging and territorial identity, and is open to all those who want to participate, develop artistically and as a community. The rehearsals have taken place in squares in the city of Faro and at Escola Santo António, every Monday at 18:30 pm.
