New councilor José Cardoso assumes responsibility for Filipe Vital in Portimão

José Pedro Cardoso, who assumed today, June 15, his new duties as permanent councilor in Portimão City Council, like the Sul Informação reported first hand, will assume the roles previously assigned to Filipe Vital, who asked to resign.

José Cardoso thus assumes the responsibility for Public Works; Management of Maintenance and Requalification of Public Space; Mobility Planning and Management; Road Network Management; Public Transport Management; Management of Parking Concession Contracts; Fleet and Workshop Management and Maintenance; Management of Community Funds and Smart Cities.

Master in civil engineering, with a postgraduate degree in project management, and chief of staff of President Isilda Gomes since January 2019, Cardoso was sixth on the list of candidates of the Socialist Party for Portimão City Council, which since 2021 has had a executive composed of nine elements (5 from the PS, 2 from the PSD, 1 from Chega and 1 from the Portimão Mais Feliz Coalition).
