The show “Extra Ordinário”, which will mark the closing of the 5th edition of the Physical Theater and Actor Training Workshops of Janela Aberta Teatro (JAT), will be presented at the gymnasium club Faro, on the 25th and 26th of June, at 21 pm and 00 pm, respectively.
This play, which is staged by Diana Bernedo and Miguel Martins Pessoa, «brings together a set of creations, through different theatrical languages, which were worked throughout the year», and brings together, for the first time, «students from two workshops: Theater Physics and Training of Actors», according to JAT.
This Algarve company develops a pedagogical project, «where it delves into various subjects of Theater in general, and Physical Theater in particular, training new actors and also new audiences».
Numbers of Object Mask and Body Mask, monologues inspired by real news and a mime choral piece, «which runs through the daily life of the City of Faro», are some of the elements of the show.

In addition to specialists in Physical Theater, JAT develops Community Theater projects, namely in Faro and Quarteira, with the groups Teatro de Vizinhes and Quarteira Fora da Caixa.
The formations of Colectivo JAT are supported by the Art Without Barriers Program of the GDA Foundation and the Municipality of Faro, and with the partnership of the Gimnásio Clube de Faro.
Diana Bernedo and Miguel Martins Pessoa were part of the training and staging team, and Ana Brandão, Daniela Veiga, Elsa Fernandes, Graça Madeira, Ilda Nogueira, Joana Cabrita Martins, Luana Black Mendes, Rita Ramos were in the Physical Theater workshop. Abreu, Vasco Seromenho.
In the Actor Training workshop were Anabela Leite, Carolina Simões, Catarina Ferreira, Catarina Pérez, Constança Paulo, Daniela Veiga, Laura Silva, Maria Resende, Suzanne de Sousa.
