A tribute concert to Amália Rodrigues, with Aurea, Cuca Roseta, Luís Trigacheiro, Marco Rodrigues, Paulo de Carvalho and Sara Correia, will take place on the 30th of July, from 22:00, at the Pavilhão Desportivo de Albufeira.
“Amar Amália” is the event that celebrates the career of Amália Rodrigues through the voice of six contemporary artists.
The show aims to combine «modernity with classic fado, bringing to the concert halls not only the public already familiar with the Queen of Fado, as well as attracting new generations through the voice of singers who interpret their own versions of the repertoire immortalized by the fado singer. ».
Tickets cost between 35 and 60 euros and can be purchased here
The event is organized in partnership with the Câmara de Albufeira and is limited to the capacity of the room.
