The Parish Council of Altura celebrated its 29th anniversary last Saturday, June 11, and the ceremony was marked by the presentation of two projects of great public interest.
The presentation was made by Filomena Sintra, vice-president of the parish, who announced the first phase of Rua da Alagoa, the main artery and heart of Altura, and the model of the Parque Infantil de Altura, «long awaited by the population».

The mayor of Castro Marim took the opportunity to underline the implementation «of two strategic axes for the development of the parish, the unblocking of the Detailed Height Plan and the creation of quality employment, which is linked to the installation of luxury hotel units ».
On this day, the president of this Parish Council also opened a space for gatherings and leisure in these facilities.
