This Sunday, May 1, hundreds of people filled the streets of Loulé to celebrate the Festa Grande da Mãe Soberana, which took place again after two years of interregnum due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Viva” and a lot of emotion marked the return of the party that culminated with the arrival of Nossa Senhora da Piedade at the Sanctuary, carried by the men of the litter.
The Festa Grande program featured celebrations from 10:00 am and ends at 23:30 pm, next to the Ermida, with a fireworks show.
