The exhibition “Conhecer o Camaleão” will be on display at the Municipal Market of Tavira, until the 13th of June, from Monday to Saturday, between 07:00 and 13:00.
The initiative, Integrated in the Camaleão Project, it aims to «promote the conservation of the species, as well as contribute to the knowledge of its biology and geographical distribution», explains the Municipality of Tavira in a statement.
The Camaleão Project resulted from the winning idea of the Youth Portugal Participatory Budget, promoted by the Vita Nativa Association, with funding from the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth, in which the municipality is a partner in terms of awareness and implementation.
