A 52-year-old German citizen, residing in Portugal, was arrested on Friday, the 6th, at 23:30 pm, in Espiche (Lagos), for dangerous driving under the influence of alcohol, with a rate of 2,43 g/l.
O Sul Informação learned that the man tried to evade the patrol that was going to inspect him, having, in his escape through the Espiche arteries, first traveled close to 50 meters in reverse and at high speed, then circulated at great speed, crossing streets, intersections and a residential area.
At one point, the vehicle driven by the fleeing man endangered two teenagers who were walking on the street, and the German ended up avoiding being hit by a vehicle, crashing the vehicle against the wall of a house in that locality, thus ending his march.
