Os Courses de Summer of the University of Algarve (UAlg) will take place again this year and will take place from the 4th to the 8th and from the 11th to the 15th of July.
Os courses are intended only for candidates up to 18 years of age (inclusive), cover several areas of study (Arts and Design, Science, Communication, Sports, Economics, Management and Tourism, Engineering and Technology, Psychology and Education and Health) and aim to make that visitors experience the university environment and mingle with the academic community.
During these days, the morning will be reserved for teaching and experimental activities and the afternoon for sports and leisure activities such as surfing, stand up paddle, bodyboarding, canoeing, beach games, among others.
According to UAlg, «several municipalities have already joined this initiative and established collaboration protocols with the university, thus encouraging the participation of primary and secondary education students in the Courses de Summer".
