“Me and John! – Manuel and I!”. This is the name of an exhibition, which brings together Manuel Baptista and João Jacinto, to be opened this Thursday, May 12, at 18:00 pm, at Casa do Meio-Dia, in Loulé.
After two exhibitions with two young people from the Algarve (Luís Marques and Bertílio Gomes), in the South, Sol Sal Artes decided to reinforce the visual arts program by presenting one of the greatest artistic references in the region: Manuel Baptista.
He was joined by another name that is gaining a very particular space among contemporary creators: João Jacinto.
“The exhibition underlines the friendship and admiration of the two artists for each other's work. The curatorship was decided between the two. After visiting the workshops, they established that each would choose the other's work», says Sul, Sol e Sal.
