Albufeira celebrates World Portuguese Language Day with a session of the Clube de Leitores

Celebrations take place on May 5 at the Lídia Jorge Municipal Library

The World Portuguese Language Day will be celebrated at the Lídia Jorge Municipal Library, in Albufeira, this Thursday, May 5th, with a Session of the Leitores Club, at 21:00. 

The initiative is open to the public, upon registration, and the meetings have a maximum number of 15 participants, over 16 years old.

«The Leitores Club session aims to informally talk about what you read, sharing new and enriching experiences with the other participants and debating about reading and the pleasure of reading, promoting interaction between readers», says the Municipality of Albufeira in communicated.

In this initiative, it will be the option of each participant to bring a narrative text, a book, a poem or a story and share it with the group.
