“Writer's Agenda” is presented at Algarve Shopping on Portuguese Author's Day

“Writer's Agenda” was created by Analita Alves dos Santos

The Writer's Agenda, the first planner annual, in Portuguese, designed for the craft of writing and encouraging reading, will be presented on the 22nd of May, Portuguese Author's Day, at 17:30, at FNAC Algarve Shopping, in Guia.

This Writer's Agenda is the creation of the literary activist and author, resident in Portimão, Analita Alves dos Santos and is co-created by Ana Guilherme Martins.

The presentation of the event will be in charge of Maria Luísa Francisco, João Ventura and Maria da Graça Ventura, authors from the Algarve and personalities linked to the dissemination of literature and culture. The animation will be with DJ Vasco Dantas. Entry is free.

According to Analita Alves dos Santos, «the idea for this planner arose from the inexistence of an annual agenda, in Portuguese, designed for the craft of writing. There are several digital tools that allow the writer-in-training to advance in their literary creation process and organize their agenda, but none encourages the increasingly forgotten act of writing by hand».

The Writer's Agenda helps to plan the writing month, the week, the day to day, and is «an instrument to escape procrastination or writer's block».

In this agenda, explains the creator, «there is space for writing planning, setting goals, inspiring phrases and an additional incentive to make reading a daily practice, with space to point out the books of the month and a reading sheet to return to. to use in other situations'.
