Vila do Bispo dedicates April to the prevention of child abuse

There are several scheduled activities

Vila do Bispo will mark the Month for the Prevention of Child Abuse, which takes place in April, with initiatives to promote and raise awareness among the population and institutions of the municipality of Vila do Bispo for this problem and to guarantee the universal rights of children .

Until the end of the month, the headquarters of the Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People of Vila do Bispo (CPCJ), which promotes initiatives with the support of the City Council, as well as the atrium of the Cultural Center will be lit in blue.
In this last space, a blue bow will also be placed, a symbol of the fight against child abuse.

The program also includes the offer of the pop-up book “We, the children…we have rights” to elementary schools in the municipality and the holding of the exhibition “As Nossas Família”.

The objective is to «alert / awaken collective and community responsibility for the prevention of child maltreatment».

«The Vila do Bispo CPCJ invites, in addition to the entities and institutions of the municipality, commercial establishments and the population in general to join this campaign for the Prevention of Child Abuse, through the creation and placement in a visible place of a Laço Azul, by placing it in a visible place in the history of Laço Azul, or even, through the blue lighting of a window, shop window, or other solution visible on the outside», challenges the institution.
