The Network of Representative Communities of the Mediterranean Diet, which includes Tavira, launched the “Mediterranean Diet Tables” initiative, as part of the celebrations of International Museum Day (18 May).
The photographs and recipes collected will be presented in the exhibition “Tables of the Mediterranean Diet”, on that International Day, in the arcades of Paços do Concelho.
This joint initiative, which aims to promote the discovery of this lifestyle, is part of the Mediterranean Museums Conviviality project and comprises three steps: the preparation of a traditional meal representative of its culture and heritage inspired by the Mediterranean Diet; photos of the preparation of the meal, the ingredients and the final result and also the publication on social networks, until the 9th of May, with the hashtags #MediterreanDietTables and #Tavira.
By publishing the photographs with the indicated hashtags, the Mediterranean Diet Network will be allowed to use the images in promotional activities, referring to the name of the account on the social network.
