The Cantaloupe Café, in the Mercados de Olhão, will present a show with Maximiliano Llanos Jazz Unit next Sunday, April 24, at 18:00.

The group includes renowned musicians from the national jazz scene and is composed of Leon Baldesberger (trumpet), Leo Vrillaud (piano), Luís Henrique (double bass) and Maximiliano Llanos (drums).

Knowing each other musically from several projects, the group creates their own versions of modal jazz themes by composers such as Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock or Bill Evans. The interpretation of this repertoire, as well as the improvisation of the collective, will approach a contemporary musical aesthetic.

During the live music shows, on first consumption, eight euros will be requested from each consumer. Reservations can be made by calling 289 704 397.
