Producers from Baixo Guadiana promoted themselves and did business in Spain

The trip was promoted by the association Odiana

Producers from Baixo Guadiana spent four days promoting and selling their products at the “Cadiz Bien Me Sabe” agri-food event, which took place between the 17th and 20th of March, at the IFECA exhibition space, in Jerez de la Frontera.

The delegation that represented Odiana, composed of elements of the association and the companies Feito no Zambujal, Cooperativa Terras de Sal and I'm, Nat had a captive place in the Interfood Fest space of the fair, of the Interpyme project, where they had the opportunity not just 'promoting their products, making sales and establishing business contacts'.

Among the products promoted were ham, sausages, salt and fleur de sel, and almond derivatives, dried fruit butters and energy bars.

«The producers/entrepreneurs had the opportunity to participate in the stand for sale, showcase and tasting of products. But also in the Commercial Mission version where they were able to present their company and products, in their own space, and the realization of B2B meetings and F2F meetings», according to Odiana.

Interpyme – Platform for the Internationalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Algarve and the Provinces of Cadiz and Huelva – is a cooperation initiative between the Algarve, Alentejo and Andalusia, Interreg VA Spain- Portugal 2014-2020 Program (POCTEP), and co-financed by FEDER

«This project, whose objective is to promote opportunities in terms of financing, promotion and internationalization for SMEs in the agri-food sector and gastronomic tourism, is expected to last until October 2022, and has the support of the Municipalities of Alcoutim, Castro Marim and Vila Real of San Antonio».
