Tour introduces “Fauna and Flora in the dune systems of Cacela”

Registration costs 5 euros

The route “Fauna and Flora in the dune systems of Cacela”, with biologists Paula Moura and Ana Moura, takes place this Sunday, April 3, at 9:30 am, starting in front of the old casino in Manta Rota.

“Dune systems are important in protecting our coastal strip. However, increasing human pressure causes destabilization on these ecosystems. Thus, this route aims to raise awareness of the importance of conserving this habitat and make its biodiversity known», says the Cacela Heritage Research and Information Center, which organizes the initiative.

It is recommended to take binoculars to observe some birds in the Álamo stream.

Registration, which costs 5 euros, can be done by sending an email to [email protected]. It is necessary to indicate the name and contact.
