Government approves extraordinary support for freight carriers

Support for companies operating in the freight transport sector on behalf of others who are licensed by the IMT

The Council of Ministers today approved, electronically, the resolution that authorizes extraordinary support to companies operating in the freight transport sector on behalf of others that are licensed by the IMT.

The support consists of a subsidy of 30 cents per liter of fuel for vehicles weighing less than 35 tonnes and 20 cents for vehicles weighing over 35 tonnes.

It also covers the emission control liquid, commonly known as AdBlue, which will be subsidized at 30 cents per litre, regardless of the vehicle's weight.
