Rain and strong wind have already made 26 occurrences in the Algarve [with video]

Despite the volume of occurrences, none of them were “great seriousness”

The intense rain and strong wind that are felt this Sunday, March 20, in the Algarve, have already caused a total of 26 occurrences, he said, Sul Informação, source of the Regional Civil Protection Command. 

There are records of falling trees, structures and «small floods», all over the Algarve: from Portimão to São Brás de Alportel, passing through Loulé, Albufeira and Silves.

Despite the volume of occurrences, none of them were “very serious”, the same source from the Algarve Regional Command told our newspaper.

Most of the occurrences started to register after 12:30.

Due to bad weather, the districts of Faro and Beja are under yellow warning due to rain, sometimes heavy, and accompanied by thunderstorms.
