Afonso Cruz exhibits “Writers” in Loulé

The exhibition “Escritores”, by Afonso Cruz, will be on view until March 30, at the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, in Loulé. 

This exhibition of illustrations by Afonso Cruz, provided by the Municipal Library António Ramos Rosa de Faro, portrays some of the main names in Portuguese Literature, from Camões and Fernando Pessoa, to Gonçalo M. Tavares and Valter Hugo Mãe.

Afonso Cruz, also a renowned writer, reproduces the face and some of the idiosyncrasies of Portuguese novelists and poets that mark the national literary imagination.
