The 1st Art and Crafts Market will take place next Sunday, March 6, from 10:00 am, in Moncarapacho.
The event will take place at Praça Major João Xavier de Castanheda (Largo da Junta de Freguesia).
This initiative will take place every month, always on the first Sunday, and aims to raise funds for the association “A Dog's Life” and for APAR – Associação de Proteção de Animais de Rua, which collect and give shelter to abandoned animals. .
Funds will be collected from the sale of handicrafts and works of art from Galeria Londot, by the artists Virgílio Raposo, Luísa Aleixo Santos, Roger Bishop and Valerie Londot, with 50% of the amount to revert to the two associations.
The event, which has the support of the Union of Parishes of Moncarapacho and Fuseta, will feature the musical entertainment of the “MonFuz Trio” and will be offered to visitors, homemade cake, orange juice and coffee.
