The Lagos maritime bar is conditioned, due to silting in the navigation channel axis, announced the National Maritime Authority (AMN).

Because of these conditions, aggravated by the state of the sea. the AMN emphasizes that all vessels “must practice the bar with a tidal height appropriate to the draft of their vessel”.
