The Algarve's João Leote and Edmundo Inácio, both natives of Portimão, did not win the television program “The Voice Portugal”, whose final was played this Sunday, February 6, but ended up in the first four places.

João Leote was the closest to the coveted conquest.

The young fado singer, who was part of the mentor Marisa Liz's team, came in 2nd place, only surpassed by the winner Rodrigo Lourenço, from António Zambujo's team.

In the final, Leote performed fados such as “Canoas do Tejo” and “Estranha forma de vida” that won him the victory.

Edmundo Inácio, from the Algarve team, Diogo Piçarra, finished the race in 4th place.

In the final, the young Portimonense sang songs like “Canção do Engate”, by António Variações, or “Flor Sem Tempo”, in duet with Paulo de Carvalho.

After the victory last year of an Alentejo – Luis Trigacheiro -, this time the final achievement went to Rodrigo Lourenço who, in addition to the prize, won a contract with the Universal publishing house, a car and a music course at Universidade Lusíada.
