Adriano Guerra is the only candidate for leadership of the CDS/Algarve

CDS has a national congress scheduled for April 2nd and 3rd

Adriano Guerra, Councilor of the Chamber of Faro, is the only candidate for the CDS district elections to be held on 5 March.

Number two on the list is Mónica Ferreira, president of the municipality of Albufeira and current district delegate in office.

The candidacy for the District Plenary Table is headed by José Pedro Caçorino, former leader of the CDS/Algarve, and the candidacy for the District Jurisdiction Council is led by Fernando Andrade Gião, dean of the party.

According to the CDS/Algarve, it was the militants, at a meeting on 19 February, who decided that this would be the time to present «a single list that would encompass militants» from across the region.

«The CDS-PP Algarve is therefore preparing for a new stage of its political life, from which it will surely emerge recognized and reinforced», say the centrists.

At national level, the CDS, which lost parliamentary representation after the results of the last Legislatives, has a national congress scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd of April.
