The Vila do Bispo City Council granted a support of 2 thousand euros to Nuno Rocha to help the athlete to participate in the duathlon and MTB events throughout this year.
The contract was signed this Thursday, January 20th, stipulating that the athlete must insert the municipality's logo on the bicycle or on the equipment used during the competitions, as well as referring to support in communication actions with the media.
«Nuno Rocha, who has won several titles at regional level in the duathlon modality, this year expects him to participate in regional and national Duathlon Cross and Road events and also in the Andalusian championship. In terms of mountain biking, it will be present in regional competitions», says the Vila do Bispo City Council.
The athlete will also be present at two international events, one of them organized in Portugal, the World Firefighters Games and the other in the Netherlands, the World Police & Fire Games. .
