Silves will host the music cycle “Ao Som de Violinos”, by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul (OCS), on the 3rd of February, at 19:00, at Teatro Mascarenhas Gregório.
The concert features works by G. Telemann, I. Lachner, C. Dancla and G. Bacewicz, specially written for four violins.
Composed at different times, between the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, these compositions “deeply explore the artistic, expressive and virtuosic abilities of their performers, unequivocally revealing the splendor of this magnificent instrument”, explains the municipality of Silves.
The OCS Chamber Music Ensemble is made up of violinists Zachary Spontak, Jan Pipal, Bojana Pantovic and Sara Cimbron.
Admission is free, but subject to room limitation, taking into account the guidelines of the Directorate-General for Health.
