A total of 315.785 voters registered to vote in advance, in order to vote on Sunday, the 23rd, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This is a record number of registrations in this modality, since, for the 2021 Presidential Elections, 246.880 voters had registered.
Voters who have registered for early mobility voting can always vote on the 30th, if they do not exercise their right to vote next Sunday.
The Ministry of Internal Administration reinforces the appeal to everyone to strictly comply with health safety standards during the voting exercise, namely: use of own pen, use of mask, social distance and hand hygiene.
Early voting in mobility «is one of the several ways that citizens have to exercise their right to vote before election day, coexisting with early voting for hospitalized patients, prisoners and citizens in homes», as well as, in the context of pandemic, “an exceptional regime for citizens in confinement decreed by the health authorities”, the same Ministry had already explained.
