Looking for Christmas gifts? Teatro das Figuras has already decided to put on sale tickets for the concerts of Pedro Abrunhosa with the Orquestra Clássica do Sul (February 12th) and Martinho da Vila, on May 20th.
The objective is that, this Christmas, culture is offered.

The concert by Brazilian Martinho da Vila, author, for example, of the hit “Mulheres”, has more expensive prices. Tickets cost between 40 and 50 euros and can be purchased here
However, December is also a month of great culture at Teatro das Figuras.
The program starts this Saturday, the 4th, with the show Le Fumiste, a proposal by the Dondavel Company for people over 6 years old, which aims to answer the question: how can you capture a memory?
This theater of objects, circus and magic is a tribute to childhood memories and other moments in life.
On the 8th, as part of the Emerging Cycle, there is a “Fridge” in the foyer of the Theatre.
It is a performative installation by Ana Rostron and João de Brito, from LAMA Teatro, in which the audience is invited to build the narrative from their memories.
On the 11th, the show “Passagem Secreta” is scheduled, a creative work by Fernando Mota, who in early 2020 started a new cycle of research and creation of musical instruments and sound objects using dead trees, stone, water and other natural materials .
Since then, he has created the concert for a tree, the film “7 Poems for a New World”, with director Mário Melo Costa and the film “O Bosque”, with Margarida Botelho (on request by Gulbenkian).
The next day, Fernando Mota presents another project of his own, this time in partnership with Mário Melo Costa and Violeta Mandillo.
It is “7 Poems for a New World”, a set of seven small films inspired by the 2020 global pandemic, by our relationship with the planet and nature and by the research and creation of experimental musical instruments from trees and others natural materials
In the theater, there will be “Gulliver”, a play with Co-pacabana production and co-production by Culturgest, which will be on stage at Teatro das Figuras on December 14, for a double session.
On the 18th and 19th, the Companhia de Dança do Algarve presents Coppélia, the result of a co-production with Teatro das Figuras.
Finally, on the 22nd, the Farense Diogo Piçarra performs for an audience that is already exhausted. The concert is part of the “Vem Cantar Comigo” tour, in which, for the first time, Diogo Piçarra performs solo on stage.
