“Because it's necessary to keep traditions”, Albufeira Firemen show their crib

Nativity scene can be visited from this Saturday, the 11th

More than 30 square meters of area, many figures distributed among moss, sand, stones, water courses, Arab and European buildings (handmade by firefighters). These are the main features of the nativity scene that the Albufeira Volunteer Firefighters reassembled, fulfilling a tradition that began with its foundation.

“In this second year in which the pandemic has put people's lives to the test, it makes even more sense to point out and reflect on what the Christmas spirit is. So this year, our crib is even richer in spirit», explain the BVA.

The nativity scene is open to everyone at the Albufeira Fire Station, from today, December 11th, until January 7th.

In this Christmas season, the Firefighters Volunteers from Albufeires appeal "for the solidarity and support of the entire community to their Firefighters, to the men and women who are at their disposal 24 hours a day, so that we can continue with our mission."
