Bruno Lage is the new president of the PSD/Faro

Bruno Lage is an environmental engineer by profession and president of the União das Freguesias de Faro since 2017

Bruno Lage was elected, last Saturday, 27 November, as the new president of the PSD/Faro. 

This act also elected the remaining municipal bodies, the delegates to the congress and the leader of the National Political Commission.

Bruno Lage is an environmental engineer by profession and president of the União das Freguesias de Faro since 2017, succeeding in the position of president of the PSD/Faro Ofélia Ramos who was in charge of the structure since January 2018.

The Political Commission is made up of President Bruno Lage, Vice Presidents Henrique Ascenso Gomes and Gameiro Alves, Treasurer Elisabete Vargues, Secretary Paulo Botelho and members Teresa Correia, Jardim de Sousa, Berta Cruz, Carlos Baía, Rui Gago, Maria Teresa Norte, Ricardo Brochado and Paula Medeiros.

As substitutes were elected Pedro Cláudio, Pedro Maia, Margarida Vasconcelos and Pedro Nunes.

For the Board of the Municipal Assembly of the PSD of Faro Deputy Ofélia Ramos was elected as president, José Carlos Gonçalves Júnior as vice-president, Virgínia Alpestana (secretary) and Ana Paula Santos (alternate)

The first official act of the elected bodies is the celebration of a mass by the founder of the PSD Francisco Sá Carneiro and by all the deceased militants.

The Eucharist will take place at the Church of São Luís, in Faro, on December 4th – the day he died – at 19 pm and will be celebrated by Canon Rui Barros.
