Portimonense guaranteed the passage to the last 0 of the Portuguese Cup after beating Penafiel by a categorical 3-19, in a match played this Friday, the XNUMXth, in that northern city.

Penafiel was even the first team to threaten the opposing goal, but it was Portimonense who placed themselves in the first goal opportunity they created.

On minute 26, Nakagima watched, Aylton Boa-Morte received it in the area and, with a strong shot, beat Caio Secco.

The second of the visitors did not take long to arrive and was again scored by Boa-Morte, in the 30th minute. Willian's well-measured pass allowed the striker to enter the area before the opposing defenders and, with a subtle touch, deflect the ball away from the goalkeeper.

Before the break, on 42 minutes, Ivan Angulo shot hard from outside the area and made it 3-0 for Portimonense.

Despite the unevenness in the scoreboard, Penafiel even tried to make a living, but without being able to score any goal.

In the second half, losing by three, Penafiel went broke and was almost resigned to their luck.

Portimonense, on the other hand, came close to scoring 4th, but Carlinhos' strong shot from outside the area hit the crossbar with a crash.

Until the end, the score did not change, dictating the passage of Portimonense to the round of XNUMX of the Cup of Portugal.
