AlgarveShopping Santa Claus will be at… teleworking

Children can talk to Santa Claus via video call

AlgarveShopping's Santa Claus, this year, will be in… teleworking. Until December 24, children have the opportunity to talk to Santa Claus, but via video call, through the Zoom platform, «in a format that guarantees the safety of everyone», highlights the shopping centre.

This strategy, explains Algarve Shopping, «is adopted by the various centers managed by Sonae Sierra» and «intends to maintain the tradition of the time and, at the same time, protect Christmas in times of pandemic».

Santa Claus in telework «prioritizes online services and promotes, more than the purchase of a gift, the “making yourself present”».

The conversation with Santa Claus will not only be to ask for gifts, but a moment when «children can share their stories, ask interesting facts and get to know Santa Claus, who will be in various settings in their house, from the library to the kitchen".

Conversations are free and can be scheduled at www.algarveshopping.pt/natal/reservas-online/.

Simply register for the day and times available — during the week, in the late afternoon, and on weekends and holidays for a longer period of time. Subsequently, a confirmation email or SMS is sent with the link to access the video call.
