Hernâni Duarte Maria's new short film has its premiere scheduled for the Biblioteca de Faro

The short film “Último Silêncio – Ela wants to escape”, directed by Hernâni Duarte Maria, will premiere on December 7th, at 21 pm, at the Municipal Library of Faro. 

The film, starring Ana Oliveira and António Gambóias, tells us about Maria's journey in search of her peace, a little comfort in her world, who knows that she will never find her home.

Hernâni Duarte Maria is born in Lagos and founder of Paradoxon Produções, an independent film production company, which started in 1997, and which maintains its objective of making cinema «in a region where film production is practically non-existent».

In this «hard path», with little support, he has already produced around twenty short films, and has won awards at various festivals in Portugal and abroad.

The session includes the projection of the film, the making of, the premiere of the video clip Última Silêncio and a lecture on the topic of domestic violence by the coordinator of the ARS Algarve program.

Last Silence – She wants to escape, is a film directed by Hernâni Duarte Maria, who is also directing actors, photography and editing, with script by André Luís, original music by Iládio Amado and sound by Mário Estevam, with the support official and institutional of the Regional Health Administration of the Algarve.
