Lagoa marked the Municipal Day for Equality, which was celebrated on the 24th of October, with the pieces “Os Monologos da Vagina” and “Milho por Peixe” and the “Encontro My Polis: Citizenship in Action”.

The celebrations began on the 24th of October, with the show “Os Monólogos da Vagina”, part of the Lagoa Humor Festival “HumorFest”.

On October 27th and 28th, around 900 students and teachers from school groups in the municipality watched the musical show “Milho por Peixe”, which aimed to address cultural diversity by creating moments of contact with artistic and cultural expressions. African women.

CDs and proposals for activities were subsequently made available to all 1st cycle schools to work on the topics covered during the show in the classroom.

The week ended with the Meeting My Polis: Citizenship in Action, a moment that aimed to reinforce the importance of younger people in active participation in the management of the territory, involving around 100 participants.
