A 27-year-old man who was arrested for attempted murder outside a bar in Olhão, on Saturday, June 6, will await trial in preventive detention.
The crime took place around 23:00. According to the Public Ministry, the victim told the aggressor to "calm down and not do anything stupid."
«In sequence, he turned his back on him and went inside the bar. Immediately afterwards, the detainee, armed with part of a barber's scissors, hit the victim on the back and the back of the head, causing him injuries».
"The detainee wanted to kill the victim, but he did not succeed in doing so for reasons beyond his control", believes the Public Ministry.
