Albufeira's GNR catches suspect of heroin and cocaine trafficking in full sale

Suspect already has a history of the same type of crime

A 50-year-old man was arrested by the Albufeira GNR on Saturday 6th, having in his possession 87 doses of heroin, eight doses of cocaine, two mobile phones and 86,45 euros in cash.

According to a note from the Territorial Command of Faro of the GNR, during a patrol, the military of the Guard detected two men making “an exchange of goods in an area connoted with the trafficking and consumption of narcotics”.

Upon seeing the GNR, the two fled, but the 50-year-old suspect was caught, having "in his possession several narcotic products, properly packed in various packages for sale."

The detainee, who even has a "criminal record for offenses of the same nature", was appointed as an accused and the facts were referred to the Court of Albufeira. He was obliged to make periodic presentations at the police station in the area of ​​residence, as well as being prohibited from entering the municipalities of Albufeira and Portimão.
