Bakeries, restaurants, tea houses, cafeterias, snack bars in Tavira can be part of the «Versos a Giz» project, coordinated by Ana Filipa Teixeira, which foresees the presentation, in these places, of verses by Álvaro de Campos, written in chalk on chalkboard frames.
Ana Filipa Teixeira is looking for partners for this project and for the «Doce Pessoa» project, which involves making a sweet with the iconic format of Fernando Pessoa.
These are just two of the most original initiatives integrated in the 2021 edition of the Álvaro de Campos' Birthday Party, the heteronym that Fernando Pessoa gave birth to in Tavira.
Organized by the association Partilha Alternativa, the Festa includes conferences, performances, exhibitions, printmaking workshops for young people, concerts, radio programs, film premieres, a graphic arts competition.
The program (see summary below) will take place until November 30th, throughout the city of Tavira.
