The easyJet airline will provide another thousand seats on the connection between the Airport of Faro and the city of Basel, Switzerland, between December 17th and January 7th.
This reinforcement is part of an effort by the low cost carrier, which will increase capacity on routes from Portugal to Germany, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Luxembourg, to offer «even more travel opportunities for Portuguese emigrants» .
Altogether, the offer to and from the various Portuguese airports, on this airline, will increase by 31 thousand places, at the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022.
“We know that a large number of emigrants from our country have the desire to return to their origins throughout the year, but that they are not always available. Therefore, aiming to provide our customers with reunions with family and friends, we have reinforced the capacity for flights from Portuguese airports to several European cities», illustrates José Lopes, general director of easyJet for Portugal.
