Cristóvão Norte is the new president of the PSD/Algarve after having won the elections that took place this Friday, 12 November.
The current Social Democratic deputy in the Assembly of the Republic collected 90,5% of the votes.
Christopher North topped the only list competing to the PSD District, after the departure of David Santos who reached the term limit (three).
In a post on Facebook, Cristóvão Norte assured that his team “will work hard”.
The new leader of the Algarve Social Democrats also dedicated the victory to his father Cristóvão Guerreiro Norte, historic Algarvian deputy of the PSD who died in 2016.
