“Domestic Love” and without violence to see in Faro

A show that wants to draw attention to the scourge of violence against women. “Amor Doméstico”, the new play by the Algarve structure “A FERA Teatro”, has its premiere scheduled for this Thursday, November 25th, at LAMA Black Box, in Faro. 

«“Amor Doméstico” is a theater show that aims to draw the attention of those who watch impassively and serenely every day to forms of affective and bullying», says “A BERA Teatro”.

“One in three women in Portugal and in the world suffers some type of violence during their lifetime, according to APAV. The Algarve is no exception and it is always time to warn that love is not violence, nor does it involve leashes or submission», he adds.

The show opens on November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

On stage is the actress Tânia Silva, interpreting a text by Joana Guita, the staging and dramaturgy by João de Brito, the music by Igor Martins, the costumes by Filipe Correia and the lighting design by Noé Amorim.

This is a show for the general public, over 12 years old. Tickets cost 6 euros.

There will be sessions on the 25th, 26th and 27th, at 21:30 pm, and on the 28th, at 17:00 pm.

“Amor Doméstico” is the 16th production by FERA Teatro, based in Faro, founded in November 2016 by several artists from Faro. FERA's vision is culture and the development of human potential and develops projects in various artistic areas such as theatre, music, dance, multimedia and plastic arts.

It will be on stage on the 25th, 26th and 27th at 21 pm and on the 30th at 28 pm.
