The VI Triathlon of Altura (Castro Marim) takes place this Sunday, October 10th.
The event included in the Algarve Triathlon Standard Championship will have swimming (1.5 kilometers), cycling (40 kilometers) and running (10 kilometers).
“This competition promises, once again, to bring many federated national athletes and from other countries, namely from neighboring Spain”, says the Chamber of Castro Marim.

The VI Triathlon of Altura is an organization of the Clube Leões do Sul, from São Bartolomeu do Sul, and which counts on the partnership of the Municipality of Castro Marim and the Triathlon Federation of Portugal and the support of the Algarve Tourism, Castro Marim Golfe & Country Club, Parish Council of Altura and IPDJ (Regional Delegation of the Algarve).
The competition is part of the sports program of the Eurocity of Guadiana and is an initiative integrated in the INTERREG application – Spain – Portugal – Operation 0592_EuroGuadiana_2020_5_E, in what refers to the Euroguadianasport programme.
