Álvaro de Campos' Birthday Party invites to show-conference with Paulo Condessa

Several exhibitions are also on display until the 30th of November

A conference show called “Álvaro de Campos – life is a ship”, by Paulo Condessa, is the proposal for this week in the celebrations of the Álvaro de Campos' Birthday Party, with space also for exhibitions among the initiatives that will take place until November 30th, in the city of Tavira.

Taking place this Saturday night, October 30, at 21 pm, in the Auditorium of the Municipal Library of Tavira, this is «a show that is an investigation, a conference that is a provocation, a fantasy that loves reality», says the organization in website the event.

«Álvaro de Campos never died and we live twice when we immerse ourselves in literature. Because literature is us».

Paulo Condessa, the protagonist of this show-conference, “likes books and reading a lot. Write and say poetry from the heart. He is a man of words, of communication. His art transmits life, is present and spontaneous», highlights the organization of the initiative.

The initiative will last around 50 minutes and is aimed at the general public, aged 16 and over.

In addition to this initiative, there will also be several exhibitions until November 30th.

In a tribute to health workers, it will be available on the page of A|NAFA's Facebook the collective photography exhibition “The Poetic Choices of Professionals at the Tavira Health Center”.

At Casa Álvaro de Campos, Professor Reinaldo Barros exhibits “Ensinar Pessoa”, a solo exhibition that can be visited from Tuesday to Thursday, from 10:00 am to 19:00 pm, and on Saturdays, from 16:00 pm to 22:00 pm.

Also in this place, and with the same visiting hours, the exhibition “Two Margens visits Álvaro de Campos” can be seen, with works by the Portuguese-Spanish collective Luz de Mujer . Art projects.

At Artesis Galeria, the exhibition “Fernando Pessoa and Love” can be visited on Thursdays and Fridays, from 16:00 pm to 19:00 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm.

Also at Casa Fotografia Andrade, and at a cost of 5 euros per adult, the work of photographers from the Andrade family is on display, showing “Notes on Tavira dos Tempos by Álvaro de Campos”.

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 18:00 pm, and on Saturday, from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm.
