It is in this place that the exhibition “Being”, the result of Blindfold Sessions, a challenge launched by the organization to two artists who do not know each other and are invited to create a work together.

For this edition, Sara Navarro, whose path has been marked by the dialogue between art and archeology, and the illustrator and printer, Elias Gato, were challenged.

As in previous years, the OSF will feature dozens of artists who are part of a studio tour, «opening the doors of their studios or simply their homes, inviting visitors to discover and observe these spaces or even participate in the creative practices that there they happen».

This year's edition brings news, «with a greater diversification of areas and opening doors to a more technological aspect», through the inclusion of studios of design, animation and architecture, and also from ETIC_Algarve, a training institution in the areas of multimedia and new technologies, «which will host some recreational activities in its facilities».

In addition to the visits to the studios, a program will take place, in parallel, including various activities for all audiences, such as interactive painting experiences for families, by the Yucca studio, the creation of kites, with the artist Tó Quintas, portraits à la minute in painting, live digital illustration, a surprise concert at the Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Músicos and several exhibitions in the conference room of the Hotel 3HB Faro and at the Gama Rama Gallery.

Also on October 28, at 14 pm, the training “Promotion Strategies for Artists” will take place by AntiFrame – Art Consulting, and the debate on “Art and Sustainability: Mutual benefits or conict of interest?”, with the participation of various artists, biologists and environmental activists.
