Academic Parade returned to the streets of Faro with tribute to health professionals

There was no lack of entertainment among students at the University of Algarve

Songs and shouts of course, eggs, milk, flour, tomato sauce and even oil were not lacking in the traditional academic parade of the University of the Algarve (UAlg) that once again toured the streets of Faro on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 12, after a year without taking place due to the pandemic.

The initiative, organized by the Academic Association of UAlg, had a tribute to health professionals, with the parade being headed by the Nursing course.

Despite having had its route changed, due to the Santa Iria Fair in Largo de São Francisco (Faro), on return was also the "bath" given by Firefighters Sapadores of Faro which, this time, was given in the open area near the Municipal Swimming Pools.
