Cultivation winds from Bezaranha continue to blow in September

Initiatives start today

Workshops, art workshops, musical shows and street cinema. The “winds that come for good”, brought by Bezaranha, will continue to blow, throughout the month of September, in the Algarve.

From this Thursday, the 2nd, and Saturday, the 4th, the Forte do Beliche, in Sagres, is the stage for four art workshops. Manuela Caneco, through a cultural and artistic journey, Michael Gottfried, with the sculpture of recycled materials, Janete Akemi, with the clay sculpture, and Isabel Ferreira, with the tile painting, are the protagonists.

In Lagos, the Cais das Descobertas / Jardim da Constitution is the setting for Nights at the Pier.

According to Bezaranha, there will be «three evenings full of entertainment, with various musical styles. On the 3rd of September the Jazz Trio will be present, with Paulo Ribeiro, Pedro Glória and Pedro Guerreiro and, on the 4th, Marta Alves invites Nuno Feist and Guilherme Banza, in a concert with transmission streaming on Bezaranha's Facebook. The Almatriz Group acts on the 5th».

This Friday, the 3rd, Geo Palcos returns to Fonte da Benémola, in Loulé, with the musical show Moçoilas, which will also be available later on Facebook. Paderne, in Albufeira, also hosts the Geo Stage, by the voice of Filipa Sousa and the Band of the Sociedade Musical e Recreio Popular do Paderne, with “Uma Noite à Portuguesa”.

On Saturday, the 4th, the Municipal Library of Olhão offers an Art Workshop with Miguel Oliveira.

The cultural project “Eis o Algarve” passes through Largo da Sé, in Faro, on the 7th, with a journey through the traditional arts of the Algarve people, through Nélson Conceição's accordion. On the 3rd and 10th, Cinema na Rua travels to the old Cemetery of Cacela Velha.
