Catos will serve as instruments for the closing this Saturday, 25th of September, at 21 pm, at Teatro Lethes, in Faro, another edition of FOMe festival – Festival of Objects and Puppets & Other Foods.
The show has the participation of 10 people from the community and is the result of the workshop 'Cactus Orkestra', given by the artist João Ricardo de Barros Oliveira, from the LixoLuxoPoético company, from Viana do Castelo.
This is a plastic and sound creation that starts from the instrumentation of 10 prepared and sounded catos, positioned in a predetermined space in different positions and constellations.
In this show, participants explore dynamics as the main object in sound, working with variations in speed, intensity and timbre.
